G-Bike, which operates the personal mobility (PM) sharing platform GCOO, announced on the 9th that it has partnered with JW Marriott Jeju, a representative 5-star hotel in Jeju Island, to provide partnership benefits to hotel guests. The purpose of this partnership is to promote sustainable tourism in Jeju Island.

GCOO intends to improve the convenience of tourists' travel by applying eco-friendly transportation to Jeju Island's tourism, and to contribute to reducing carbon emissions and traffic noise, alleviating parking difficulties, and spreading a low-carbon travel culture, thus reinforcing environmental responsibility.

With the GCOO and JW Marriott Jeju partnership, hotel guests will be provided with GCOO discount coupons, and plans are in place to rent helmets in the hotel lobby. In addition, a dedicated parking area for GCOO electric bicycles will be available at the hotel, with parking fee discounts applied when parked in the designated area.

Guests can conveniently tour major tourist attractions such as Jeju Stone Park, Olle Trail Course 7, and Cheonjiyeon Falls located near the hotel by using GCOO's electric bicycles. Moreover, GCOO operates 2,000 electric bicycles and electric scooters throughout Jeju City, enabling tourists to explore various parts of Jeju Island and easily practice low-carbon travel in a fun way.

In addition, the GCOO platform is a global platform that can be linked overseas, so foreigners can use it as well, and it offers translation features in various languages including English, Japanese, Chinese, and Vietnamese, which is expected to increase the accessibility for foreign tourists.

A representative from JW Marriott Jeju said, "We hope that this partnership will provide JW Marriott Jeju visitors with a richer and more meaningful travel experience," adding, "We will continue to expand efforts for sustainable tourism and environmental protection, and strive to establish eco-friendly infrastructure to increase customer satisfaction."

Yun Jong-su, CEO of G-Bike, said, "We expect that through cooperation with JW Marriott Jeju, tourists visiting Jeju will experience a more sustainable and enjoyable trip," adding, "We will expand partnership channels that businesses and local communities create together for an eco-friendly culture that is easily and conveniently practiced in everyday life and build a new model of coexistence."
