The personal mobility (PM) sharing platform 'GCOO' has partnered with the life service platform company 'BGF Networks' to provide a parcel reception feature. From May 27th, you can use the parcel service of BGF Networks-operated CU and Emart24 convenience stores at discounted prices through the GCOO app.
Through the link to the announcement inside the GCOO app, you can move to the parcel reception page. For items under 2kg, you can use the service for 3,300 won, a discount of up to 1,600 won from the standard price.
For items over 2kg and under 5kg, a discounted fee of 3,800 won applies, saving up to 1,900 won off the regular price, and for items over 5kg and under 20kg, the discounted fee is 4,700 won, saving up to 4,100 won. Additional charges are applied when shipping to Jeju Island and mountainous or isolated areas, and when the item value exceeds 500,000 won.
In the future, it is planned to review the integration of both services within the GCOO app to enable even more convenient parcel reception without the need to navigate through links to the reception page.
Yoon Jong-soo, CEO of 'GBike' which services GCOO, stated that "We continuously strive to enhance the convenience in daily life by expanding life-centric features linked with our shared PM service for GCOO users." He continued by expressing, "We hope the users will enjoy the essential postal service more conveniently through GCOO electric bicycles and electric scooters."
Meanwhile, GCOO is continuously improving application functions to enhance user convenience. Recently, it introduced a route search service to comfortably navigate to destinations and incorporated an AI chatbot to assist in resolving queries in various fields, including GCOO services.
