G-Bike, operated by CEO Jong-Soo Yoon, is running an electric scooter sharing platform 'GCOOTER'. The company announced on the 20th that it has signed a business agreement with Gwangju Eastern Fire Station to collaborate on the safe operation of electric scooters and to promote firefighting policies for public welfare and create new values.

The agreement ceremony held at the Gwangju Eastern Fire Station was attended by key stakeholders including G-Bike CEO Jong-Soo Yoon and Eastern Fire Chief Young-Don Kim.

Through this agreement, GCOOTER and Gwangju Eastern Fire Station have agreed to cooperate on ▲establishing safety rules for electric scooter users ▲conducting safety campaigns to form a proper PM culture ▲producing their own promotional materials related to firefighting policies and safety ▲promoting according to the season (spring/winter) and firefighting policies ▲continuously exploring areas where mutual exchange and cooperation are possible.

Currently, GCOOTER is the leading mobility service in South Korea, holding the number one market share in the domestic personal mobility sharing market, and is actively used in Gwangju, being shared every second. The business agreement with Eastern Fire Station is expected to further strengthen the local traffic safety network and promote firefighting policies in various ways, thereby continuously creating sustainable mutual synergy effects between public and private sectors.

Through this agreement, GCOOTER and Gwangju Eastern Fire Station plan to launch safety campaigns in cooperation with the fire station, aiming to settle safety and proper PM culture for the main user group, the 2030 generations. Moreover, from June this year, GCOOTER is expected to increase the effectiveness of firefighting policy promotion by placing promotional materials for the newly implemented residential fire safety installation project provided by Gwangju Eastern Fire Station on each scooter.

G-Bike CEO Jong-Soo Yoon stated, "The business agreement with Gwangju Eastern Fire Station has a significant meaning beyond simple cooperation between institutions and corporations. I am delighted and proud that GCOOTER can be a conduit for policies that many citizens in Gwangju can personally experience and implement," and he added, "We will continue to work harder to provide services that can make a genuine difference in the lives of many citizens."
