Gcooter, operated by G-Bike led by CEO Jong-su Yoon, announced on the 10th that it has achieved a cumulative revenue of 100 billion won by recording a revenue of 53 billion won in 2022.

After achieving the number one sales in Asia for the first time in 2021 with a revenue of 33.5 billion won, Gcooter solidified its position as Asia's number one by growing 60% compared to the previous year, renewing its record for the highest performance for two consecutive years in 2022.

The cumulative investment in Gcooter is one-third that of its competitors in the same industry, and within four years after launching the shared electric scooter service, it has achieved a record efficiency of approximately 10 times the sales compared to the investment.

In the midst of tightening regulations that have not been favorable for the PM (Personal Mobility) sharing industry, Gcooter continues to show steady growth with aggressive M&A (Mergers & Acquisitions) and service scale expansion based on operational efficiency capabilities, maintaining the top spot in domestic market share since October 2020.

This year, Gcooter is advancing its strategy to fully enter the global market and diversify its business. It plans to successfully launch a new PM that improves the core service quality of device safety and riding comfort, and accelerate the development of SW and HW prototypes for the introduction of AI-based platform upgrades and BSS (Battery Sharing Service), with intentions to nurture even the research and development sector.

Additionally, Gcooter aims to secure a revenue structure by mitigating seasonality factors through global service launches in the United States, Thailand, and more, and to prove the sustainability of its innovative growth.

CEO Jong-su Yoon of Gcooter stated, "Despite the chaotic domestic and foreign environment last year, the business's growth has continued solidly. PMs seem to have secured their position as an axis of transportation, not merely a recreational means." He also emphasized, "In a situation where the climate crisis has become tangible, we will strive to popularize eco-friendly transportation methods like PMs to provide convenience in movement and solve both present and future environmental issues."
